MowGreen Minute: Spring Update: Improvements
Here is an update on MowGreen’s continuous improvements, including better equipment, staff and payment processing options:
New High Speed 33″ Electric Mower – A “Tesla” of Mowers

Mowing will go faster under most conditions – up to twice as fast as with the current smaller electric fleet. The mower will mow all day on a single charge and uses Lithium-ion batteries (better for the environment).
New Reel2Reel(TM) Double (& Triple) Reel Push Gang Kits
Reels are even greener than battery electric mowers, but they are not always ideal for certain conditions and are perhaps a bit harder to operate for extended periods.
After tinkering on a few designs over the past 6 years, we have finally perfected the design of the double reel kit (the triple has always worked, but the double was unstable).

Pushing 2 reels with overlap and a 34″ swath is actually fairly easy and a great workout.
The kit is designed and Manufactured by MowGreen and Hawie Manufacturing/Solo Marine of Bridgeport, CT.
Email or call us to order a kit – $275 for the double or $345 for the triple (just add reels : ). It will be listed on our website for online ordering soon. Please click here for more info on the Reel2Reel.
New Experienced and Dedicated Management
While Marty Murray will continue to manage the Greenwich area, a new Customer Service Manager

and General Manager in training has joined us. John Darcelien has experience in large scale lawn care and even spent some time as a network engineer! He’ll be closely in touch with all customers to maximize quality of service and will cover from Greenwich to New Haven, working hands-on at all accounts. CT Innovations has even awarded MowGreen a small grant toward extra training and R&D to assure success. John is working on his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Post University.
In Greenwich, Will Vecchiolla, who also works at an area group home and has 15 years MowGreen and other lawncare experience, will return this season. Will is very customer service and quality
oriented like the rest of the team.
Zachary McLaughlin, will augment New Haven work, returning this season. He is a graphic design professional and manager at a recreational climbing center in New Haven.
We are increasing efforts to hire only quality-conscious, caring and capable people whose values match MowGreen’s and also to provide more training and information access to assure best results.
Easier Billing & Paying Options, & Incentives to Hire Us
They say every transaction costs over $10 in time and effort. So it would be great to limit bills, invoice receipts, payments and cash receipts with regular electronic processing at least monthly but ideally in a single season payment. To make a single payment palatable, a discount is available reducing the monthly total by 6%. That’s like an APR of 12%+ when you consider the time value of money and timing of the payments comparatively. We craft a season’s agreement showing a monthly rate tempered by what we know of work required, along with a single discounted seasonal price, always hoping to raise cash flow to support further improvements (such as vehicle roof-top solar – we already have HQ rooftop solar), and other efficiency oriented innovations. We’ll also provide our account #’s for direct online payments if desired; we will also finally begin to allow credit card processing on line at our site soon too. We want to make it as easy as possible to support clean & serene with MowGreen. Paypal payments can be made now also.
Please call or email to discuss incentives to hire us for your full-time lawn care needs.
We have improved our online and mobile CRM system to better plan and execute on a tailored program for maximum effectiveness and efficiency, tracking all requests and preferences down to preferred grass length, frequency of visits, soil sample results, preferred times of day/week, etc..
Happy Spring! & Global Un-Warming Regards,
